Another Portrait Session at the Toddler Group

On Thursday I did the second session at the Tylers Green Toddler Group. The list was longer and the weather worse that the first time, but all in all I had a good day. Now I just need to find the time to fit in the mums on the "in case you can squeeze in another day"-list.

Here are a preview of a couple of the images...

Xmas present for Grandma

On Monday I photographed two little monkeys called Maddie & Sophie... it was very early in the morning and freezing cold and going outside was met with lots of shivering. I thought it best to retreat back into the warmth before they turned completely blue.

We played lots of peekaboo, blowed kisses and generally had lots of fun.

Here are a few of the pics from the day.

My first Cover

In today's post, I received my copy of Families Magazine - Thames Valley East (Nov/Dec edition).
What makes it different to all the others I've received over the last couple of years, is that one of my images is currently adorning the cover.

I didn't think it would make me feel as proud as I'm feeling right now!

All about Lifestyle

Here I am back at my desk after 4 days in Staveley (Lake District), and my brain is seriously overloaded with information and inspiration. I also feel the need to get out there and practice everything we've been taught, but the question remains - "where will the time come from?"

I am up to my elbows in shoots, edits and albums, but that said, I am loving every minute of it.

For now, however, I will have to be content with implementing a little bit of the new knowledge every day, rather than all at once.

Here are some of the results as I promised...

Off to the Lakes...

Just to let you know that I'll be in the Lake District for the rest of the week on an Annabel Williams course.

I'll be back next week feeling all refreshed, inspired and clued up on Lifestyle photography. I might even post a few images taken during the practical out and about sessions.

Ian & Bryony's RAF Wedding

Yesterday (yes in the pouring rain), saw me photographing the Wedding of Ian & Bryony. It was my first RAF wedding and I loved the formalities associated with it - sword ceremony etc.
The wedding ceremony took place at Church of St Francis of Assisi in High Wycombe which was then followed by a reception at the Officers Mess, RAF High Wycombe (formerly known as Strike Command).

In spite of all the difficulties we experienced, it was a lovely day and a beautiful wedding. I feel honoured to have spent it with such an amazing couple!

Here is a sneak preview of some of the images.
